A modest little dog was discovered covered bursting at the seams with two broken legs in what the RSPCA has called a "terrible demonstration of remorselessness ".

The nine-week-old puppy had been enveloped by a container sack and dumped in a field.

An upset puppy walker made the troubling revelation in Leyland, Lancashire, on Saturday.

The RSPCA has censured the awful pitilessness and propelled an examination.

"I am completely devastated that vets couldn't spare this guiltless, cherishing little young doggie," said RSPCA Inspector Alison Fletcher in a public statement.

"He didn't merit this consummation.

"It's amazingly suspicious that this little puppy had such genuine broken legs which, apparently, hadn't been dealt with.

"And for somebody to relinquish him in such stunning conditions, in what gives off an impression of being an endeavor to slaughter him, is totally stunning."

Insp Fletcher said the pup was accepted to be a Pomeranian type.

One front and one back leg had been broken, abandoning him unfit to walk or move.

The monitor proceeded: "It's completely deplorable. What a terrible demonstration of cold-bloodedness to exit to the center of no place, burrow a grave and cover this poor little dog alive in the earth.

"It's appalling.

"I can't trust this little one was discovered, he was so fortunate or he could have endured the most incredibly moderate and agonizing passing."

Vets concurred putting the seriously harmed canine to rest was the kindest activity.

Insp Fletcher stated: "We've presently propelled a full examination concerning who might do such a terrible thing and I'd like to get notification from anyone who perceives the pup or who is aware of anybody locally who has had a litter of Pomeranian type pups as of late, or who purchased a Pomeranian puppy yet never again has it.

"Any individual who can help our examination in any capacity can connect through our intrigue line on 0300 123 8018."
